Mao Lea

Hello everyone, I am Mao Lea. I am from Kampong Thom Province. My family is poor and I have 4 members in my family. I am motherless and my father left us and has his own family. Because of the difficulties in my family I had to stop school. I used to live with my oldest brother who makes and sells windows in my village. I helped him to make and sell windows. Fortunately, I had a chance to learn at PKH in 2007. I left my family to learn English and Housekeeping at PKH. It was hard to live in the centre with Christians. I did not know Jesus well but one day I got to know Jesus more at PKH. Jesus gave me hope, joy and love. After one year at PKH I completed housekeeping course and was a trainee for 7 months at Le Meridien Angkor Hotel in Siem Reap. I worked for quite long time in housekeeping department. After about 2 years, God blessed me and I was moved to Front Office department as Bell Driver. I could not believe that I can pass the interview because my English was not so good. How amazing is God’s love and mercy that He gave me many good chances to be what I am today. I am happy with this present job. Finally I want to say a big thank you to Teacher Susan, God has chosen the right person to help many poor young Cambodian people like me.
