I got back from the PKH Siem Reap trip and apologies for the delayed post!
We had a meaningful time of fellowship with one another, visiting places in Cambodia, and meeting former PKH trainees to see how their lives have been changed for the better by the power of the Gospel and by the kindness of PKH supporters to the poor and needy .
Many of us had the privilege of interacting with many former students who took time off to show us the fantastic sites of Siem Reap including Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap Lake.
The highlight of the trip was the PKH Alumni dinner which was attended by 145 people, including 28 people from St Andrew’s Cathedral, 99 former students of PKH, and staff of PKH. It was wonderful to see the former students, quite a few of whom are now married with children, and to hear their testimonies. God has indeed brought them out of economic and spiritual poverty.
Here are their testimonies compiled into a booklet entitled ‘Life Stories’ which was distributed at the alumni dinner. If you’d like to read it, please click here.
I’ll be posting some photos of the trip soon, so watch this space!
